Our 24-year-old patient, weighing 152 kilograms, preferred our hospital for a Sleeve Gastrectomy.
Upon his visit to our hospital, our patient was examined by Dr. Mustafa Onder Dolap, our Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Specialist, and necessary tests and assessments were carried out. After being examined also by Cardiology, Internal Medicine, Pulmonology, Anesthesia, Nutrition and Dietetics departments, no obstacles were identified.
Following surgery and upon his discharge, he was guided by Cigdem Kiral, our Dietitian.
7 months after the surgery, our patient managed to lose an impressive 52 kilograms in just 7 months. Expressing his newfound vitality, our patient remarked that he began to truly enjoy his youth as well as realizing the extent of his weight struggles after shedding the excess pounds.
