Mr. Erol Alev sought care at our hospital, having symptoms of stomach pain, nausea, appetite loss, and significant weight loss. Under the care of our General Surgeon, Dr. Ferudun Bikmaz, Mr. Alev underwent a thorough examination and evaluation. Following comprehensive assessments, including gastroscopy and colonoscopy, he was diagnosed with Colon Cancer.
Admitted to our surgical ward, equipped with strict COVID-19 safety measures, Mr. Alev underwent preoperative preparations, including Contrast-Enhanced CT. A Laparoscopic Surgery was performed by ensuring minimally invasive yet effective treatment. Mr. Alev’s recovery progressed remarkably after the surgery, and he was discharged in optimal condition after three days of observation. No complications were observed during the subsequent follow-up appointment, with Dr. Bikmaz emphasizing the shorter recovery time associated with laparoscopic cancer treatment.
