Mrs. Sandra Knauerhase Renner, from Germany, preferred our hospital for Sleeve Gastrectomy after her long-standing struggles with obesity and her inability to lose weight despite numerous attempts.
Upon her arrival at our hospital, Sandra was examined by our Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Specialist, Dr. Mustafa Onder Dolap, and necessary tests were conducted. She was also examined by our Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Psychiatry, Nutrition and Dietetics Specialists. Subsequently, endoscopic examination, blood tests, and radiological assessments (including abdominal ultrasound and chest X-ray) were completed. After these examinations, it was determined that Mrs. Renner had no impediments to undergo the surgery, and her surgical plan was arranged accordingly.
The surgery for our patient was performed successfully. After four nights of post-operative monitoring in our hospital, Sandra was discharged in good health.
