  • During your stay at our hospital, you can share your wishes, recommendations, and opinions with our representatives from the “Patient Rights Protection Department.” We wish you a pleasant day.
  • The hospital operates on an appointment basis for outpatient examinations. You can schedule an appointment for examination and consultation through the service center active 24/7 with the number: +90 282 673 7373; for international patients, call 0090 5542 405 6276 or visit our website corluvatan.com/en/.
  • Our hospital provides outpatient services between 08:30-17:30 on weekdays and between 08:30-14:00 on Saturdays. Our emergency department provides services 24/7, with a doctor available to meet all your healthcare needs on time.
  • The initial registration for hospital clinics is done at the registration desk. Each clinic’s desk is located on the floor as the polyclinic. During registration, it is mandatory to provide your ID card (for Turkish citizens) or passport (for foreign citizens).
  • In our hospital clinics, priority is given to emergency cases, people with disabilities, pregnant women, patients over 65 years old, children under 7 years old, spouses and children of military victims and heroes of the Republic of Turkey.
  • Confidentiality procedure is applied in our hospital for patients who want their names to be hidden during treatment. If you inform your attending doctor or the cashier during registration in advance, necessary actions will be taken accordingly.
  • During your registration, you will be given a barcode for examination, indicating the examination time and waiting time. Please be strict about your designated examination time. Be at the hospital 15 minutes before your designated time and complete your registration.
  • Designated hours may be extended depending on emergency cases or the special condition of another patient in doctor’s office. In such a case, clinic assistant will provide you the necessary information.
  • From the perspective of respecting the patient’s personality and their privacy, our secretaries do not attend during the examination. Our secretaries can accompany you at your request and confirmation during your examination.
  • After your examination, the doctor enters the necessary laboratory and radiological examinations into the system. The laboratory and radiology department are located on Floor -1.

VISITOR'S GUIDE TO THE INTENSIVE CARE UNIT
  • Dear relatives of patients undergoing treatment in the Intensive Care Unit, your presence is of great importance to us.
  • Each patient in the Intensive Care Unit requires special care. In order to ensure the patient’s health is not compromised, we expect you to strictly adhere to the precautionary measures we have taken.
  • Visits to patients treated in the Intensive Care Unit are conducted daily between 11:00 AM and 12:00 PM. Visiting hours may be changed based on the patient’s condition, as determined by the attending physician.
  • The Intensive Care Units are located on the -1st and -2nd floors of our hospital. You can inquire about the specific Intensive Care Unit your relative is in at the information desk.
  • Due to the special condition of patients undergoing treatment in the Intensive Care Unit, only first-degree relatives (parents, spouse, siblings) are allowed with permission from the Intensive Care Unit doctor and in accordance with the hours set by the hospital administration. Children are not permitted in the unit.
  • Information for relatives of patients is provided daily between 11:00 AM and 12:00 PM in the information room on the -2nd floor, where the doctor in charge of the Intensive Care Unit gives updates on the patient’s condition.
  • From a privacy protection perspective, information about the patient’s condition is not disclosed to individuals who are not legally related. After conveying the necessary information, only one close relative is allowed to visit the patient, while others can observe through a camera placed in the observation room. On weekends and official holidays, only one close relative is permitted for an in-person visit, without being shown through the camera.
  • Upon entering the Intensive Care Unit, it is mandatory to wear the protective gown, surgical cap, mask, and shoe covers provided at the entrance. Additionally, hands must be sanitized.
  • Visits to the Intensive Care Unit are limited to 5 minutes under the supervision of a nurse. In some emergency cases, early exit from the unit may be necessary.
  • Information regarding the patient’s needs can be obtained from the nurse responsible for the Intensive Care Unit and the patient’s assigned nurse. For medical updates, information can be obtained from the treating physician.
  • There is no need for close relatives to constantly wait in the hospital. In case of need or emergencies, they will be informed through phone. Do not wait at the entrance of the Intensive Care Unit before or after visiting patients.
  • In terms of patient health, avoid displaying emotions (crying, shouting, etc.) during visits. Do not speak loudly. If the patient is conscious, do not allow them to talk on the phone. Do not take pictures of the patient in the Intensive Care Unit with your phone, do not touch the patient, and do not sit on their bed.
  • After each visit, wash your hands, remove the protective gown and accessories, dispose of them in the trash bin at the exit, and clean your hands with hand sanitizer.
  • Food, drinks, and other items are not allowed in the Intensive Care Unit.

NEONATAL INTENSIVE CARE UNIT GUIDELINES
  • Dear Patient Family Members; your loved ones are our patients, and they are of great importance to us. Each patient in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit requires special care. In order to prevent any potential threats to the patients’ health, we expect you to strictly adhere to the precautions we have taken.
  • Visitation in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is allowed every day from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM and from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM. You may visit your patient in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for 5-10 minutes in the presence of a nurse. In emergency cases, early departure may become necessary.
  • If the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is not available on a particular day, the visiting hours may be subject to change.
  • For patients under observation in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, the attending physician will provide information about the baby’s condition every day from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM in the waiting area of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit or in their office.
  • Information regarding patient needs can be obtained from the unit’s nurse, and information regarding the medical condition can be obtained from the doctor.
  • Due to the special condition of patients in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, only the MOTHER and FATHER are allowed, with permission from the Intensive Care Unit doctor, according to the hours determined by hospital administration. Children are not allowed.
  • Visitors with a fever, cold, cough, vomiting, or infectious dermatitis are not allowed.
  • Patient families do not need to wait constantly at the hospital. In case of need or emergencies, they will be informed through phone.
  • Do not wait at the entrance to the intensive care unit before and after visiting patients.
  • You may visit the patient accompanied by a nurse. While entering, please wear a protective gown, surgical cap, mask, and shoe covers. Wash your hands or use hand sanitizer.
  • Please ensure your phone is on silent mode during your visit.
  • Taking pictures of your baby (without flash) is allowed; however, capturing images of the Intensive Care Unit is not permitted.
  • Do not touch the incubators to avoid the risk of infection. During the visit, please avoid speaking loudly.
  • After each visit, wash your hands, remove the protective gown and accessories, dispose of them in the trash bin at the exit, and clean your hands with hand sanitizer.
  • Thank you for your cooperation in following the precautions we have taken, considering the well-being of both yourself and the patient.
INFORMATION REGARDING YOUR COMPANION
  • During your stay at the hospital, please follow the rules to maintain a quiet and peaceful environment.
  • Companions must carry a companion card, which will be provided to them during their stay.
  • Smoking is prohibited in the hospital.
  • We kindly request that each patient has only one designated companion during their stay.
  • For the patient’s safety, kindly follow the instructions provided by the doctor and nurses.
  • The sofas in the rooms are convertible and can be used as beds by companion.
  • For the convenience and safety of patients and companions, you may obtain information about room services through ‘’Room Information Cards’’
  • Our hospital is equipped with central heating and cooling systems. You can adjust temperatures using the thermostat located on the left or right side of the door, depending on the condition of the room.
  • When you wish to take a shower, you may ask for a bath towel and a hairdryer from the floor’s nursing staff.
  • You may submit your suggestions, expressions of gratitude, and complaints to the ‘’Patient Rights Department’’, and through satisfaction assessment survey cards located in the rooms and on our website.
VISITOR INFORMATION FOR PATIENTS

Clinic Visits:

  • Visitation is permitted in clinics from 09:00 to 23:00.

Adult Intensive Care Unit:

  • Information and visitation hours for the Adult Intensive Care Unit are from 11:00 to 12:00. Visit times may be subject to change depending on the patient’s condition.

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit:

  • Only the mother and father are allowed to visit in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Visitation times are twice a day from 13:00 to 14:00 and from 20:00 to 21:00, subject to ID verification.

Patient Health Information Recipients:

  • Information is provided directly to adult patients with clear consciousness or to first-degree relatives as indicated by the patient.
  • If the patient is unconscious, information is given to first-degree relatives.
  • For pediatric patients, information is shared with their parents.
  • No information regarding the patient’s condition is disclosed to third parties.

Patients Not to Be Visited:

  • Patients undergoing treatment in the Intensive Care Unit.
  • Patients with infectious diseases.
  • Patients with compromised immune systems. (Cancer patients undergoing treatment, organ transplant recipients, patients on steroid therapy)
  • Patients for whom visits are not recommended by the attending physician (Information for these patients can be obtained from the doctor).

Restricted Visitors:

  • Children under 16 years old.
  • Individuals with a fever, cough, or infectious diseases.
  • Individuals with chronic illnesses.
  • Individuals with compromised immune systems.

What to consider when visiting patients:

  • Visits should take place as scheduled.
  • Visits should be brief, lasting no more than 10 minutes.
  • Each patient should have a maximum of two visitors.
  • Sitting on patients’ beds during visits is not allowed.
  • If you notice a sign indicating Isolation Information in the patient’s room before the visit, consult with the nursing staff. For these patients, visitation may be restricted, or precautionary measures should be taken before the visit.
  • Nothing in the patient’s room should be touched.
  • Touching medical materials such as serum kits and oxygen gauges is prohibited.
  • Visitors must sanitize or wash their hands with soap.
  • Speaking loudly should be avoided near the patient.
  • Other patients should not be disturbed during the visit.
  • Patients’ privacy should be respected.
  • The use of emergency exits and staircases by patients, companions, and visitors is prohibited unless there is an emergency.
  • Entry into the hospital by individuals under the influence of alcohol is prohibited. Alcohol consumption within the hospital premises is also prohibited.
  • If individuals under the influence of alcohol are observed, inform the “Security Department.”
  • Do not insist on visiting outside the designated hours.
  • Visiting hours and rules in the Intensive Care Units may vary according to the ICU’s requirements. Similar information is provided to the patient’s relatives at the entrance to the Intensive Care Unit.

PATIENTS WITH VISITATION RESTRICTIONS

  • A sign stating “Visitation is prohibited” is placed on the door of patients who should not be visited either at their personal request or for medical reasons. This condition should be tactfully explained to visitors.
HOSPITAL OPERATING HOURS INFORMATION
  • Private Çorlu Vatan Hospital provides outpatient services during the week from 09:00 to 18:00 and from 09:00 to 14:00 on Saturdays.
  • The emergency department of the hospital provides healthcare services 24/7 with on-call doctors and emergency specialists.
WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING FOR HOSPITALIZATION?
  • Our purpose is to ensure that you get to know room, settle down and feel comfortable in the shortest period of time possible. On the day that you come to our hospital, you will be welcomed by our hospitalization consultant.

  • Exceptional attention to maintaining silence aids patients in their healing process. Please keep your mobile phones closed or on silent mode during your stay in the hospital to avoid noise and prevent its negative impact on medical facilities.
VENTILATION AND AIR CONDITIONING
  • Heating and cooling of the rooms in the hospital are managed by a central computerized system. Through the air conditioning system, the air in the building can be purified without the need to open windows. On the other hand, the temperature in each room can be adjusted according to your preference using the control button. The change in temperature occurs within 20 minutes. For temperature adjustments, you can seek assistance from the floor consultants.
TECHNICAL SUPPORT
  • Technical service is available during working hours to address any issues that may occur in your room related to equipment such as the television, sofa, wardrobe, bed, etc. In order to get technical support, simply contact your medical nurse.
COMMUNICATION LIAISON FOR PATIENTS
  • The Patient Communication Officer works for providing improved medical services for patients. Your opinions and recommendations are of particular importance to us. The Communication Liaison for Patients will assist in the prompt implementation of your recommendations and will take note of your feedback. VISITS
  • During your stay in the hospital, the attending physician will visit you twice daily, in the morning and evening.
NURSING SERVICES

NURSE CALL SYSTEM
  • Whenever you need assistance, nurses will be available for you.
  • A nurse call system is installed next to your bed and in the bathroom, enabling a rapid response to your calls. Upon discharge from the hospital, nurses will provide you the information for the care that needs to be applied at home. YOUR MEDICATIONS
  • Inform your doctor and the nursing staff about any medications you are currently using and have brought with you upon admission to the hospital.
  • For your safety, the medications you take must be confirmed by the doctor and pharmacist.
  • These medications include both prescription and over-the-counter pills (such as aspirin or cough syrup), vitamins, and dietary supplements.
  • If you are aware of any allergic reactions to food and/or medications, please inform your doctor and the nursing staff. It is crucial to know which medications you are using and the purpose of them. Therefore, please keep track of the medications you use during your stay in the hospital.
ENGAGEMENT IN THE TREATMENT AND CARE PLAN
  • Your personal involvement in the treatment process is crucial for understanding what is being done and why. Therefore, communicate with your attending physician and the nursing staff regarding the treatment and care plan.
  • Make sure you comprehend the treatment; do not hesitate to ask if there’s anything you don’t understand.
  • If a procedure is scheduled, seek information from your attending physician about the operation.
  • If you are in pain, consult with both the nursing staff and the doctor.
HAND HYGIENE AND INFECTION PREVENTION
  • Properly washing your hands is the most crucial measure in preventing infections. For this reason, sinks are installed in all patient care areas and hospital rooms for handwashing.
  • Wash your hands before and after using the toilet.
  • After touching dirty items.
  • Before and after meals.
  • Before and after touching a bandaged area.
  • Before entering and after leaving the patient’s room, wash your hands for 15 seconds with water and soap.
  • Healthcare personnel must wash their hands before performing any procedure on you. Feel free to remind them if needed.
  • If the patient has tubes, catheters, dressings, etc., make sure to keep them dry and clean. If there is redness, pain, discharge, moisture, or loosening of the dressing at these sites, promptly inform the nurse or doctor.
  • Depending on the type of infection, wearing a mask, gloves, gown may be necessary to protect other patients and hospital staff. Visitor access may be restricted for these patients.
  • In such situations, the doctor and nurse will inform you about the precautions need to be taken.
LOST AND/OR FOUND ITEMS
  • Security personnel of the hospital are stationed at the entrance/exit doors and the emergency department. In the event of a lost and/or found item, please contact the security personnel for assistance.
SECURITY
  • The security services provided by the hospital work 24 hours a day to ensure your peace of mind and comfort. Security personnel stationed at specific locations within the hospital prevent unauthorized access to patient floors. Their responsibilities include enforcing visiting hours, preventing inappropriate behavior within the hospital, and ensuring the peace of both patients and hospital staff (Internal line: 2027).
PARKING SERVICE
  • As long as you are our patient, you, your family, or companion can benefit from the hospital’s free parking service. You may park briefly in front of the main entrance and the emergency department doors upon patient admission or discharge.
AMBULANCE SERVICE
  • Our ambulance services are available 24 hours a day, and you can access them by phone at (0282) 653 51 51.
  • If you require ambulance services upon discharge from the hospital, please contact the administrative personnel who manages your discharge procedure.
EMERGENCY PLAN
  • On both sides of our hospital, there are emergency exit stairs. Emergency exits are indicated by signs along the hospital corridors.
